Twin Suns Squadron? Where have I heard that before?
In the Expanded Universe, the Twin Suns Squadron was an elite starfighter squadron created by Luke Skywalker. You can read all about it on Wookieepedia.
In The Old Republic, the Twin Suns Squadron as a guild has been around since the launch of the game. Originally from the server Luka Sene, which was later merged into The Red Eclipse, which was later merged into Darth Malgus, the guild initially developed a reputation for being good in PvP. However, these days our focus lies with PvE content instead, and we enjoy running operations both for progression as well as for simple social fun (though some members still like to PvP too). More recently we've also started to become competitive in Conquests, going for the large yield target most weeks and sometimes even winning first place on a planet.
In other games you might have encountered us as well, as we’ve grown into a multi-gaming community to some extent. Some examples of where you might have encountered us are ARK: Survival Evolved, Space Engineers, Crusader Kings, The Division and Neverwinter.
The People Behind The Guild
While originally most of us were based in the UK, these days we are an international guild, and have members from a variety of countries, including The Netherlands, Spain and Croatia. Age-wise most of us are in our 20s or 30s, but we also have both younger members as well as older ones.
What Do We Offer?
In terms of practical bonuses we offer both the guild experience and guild reputation bonus, as well as a fully expanded guild stronghold and a fully unlocked guild flagship.
Activity wise we host a variety of events like open sign-up nights for all our members, progression raiding, special events like podracing or scavenger hunts and spontaneous unranked PvP nights. Progression raiding is done in fixed raiding teams, which run hard and nightmare mode content.
We may be the guild for you if...
... you enjoy being part of a community of dedicated players that is small enough to be personal (so everybody knows who you are when you log in) but at the same time large enough to get things done and see most of the game's content. We have no particular requirements for membership in general (such as having to log in x times per week or always achieving your personal Conquest target) other than that you should enjoy the company of your fellow guildies and have a good time.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact one of our officers on Enjin or in game. To apply, just click on the recruitment link on the top menu and fill out the application form!
